Mr Osei Bonsu Amoah, New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Aburi-Nsawam Constituency, has promised to ensure judicious use of funds from the Millennium Challenge Accounts (MCI), towards accelerated development of the area, if elected as Member of Parliament on December 7.
The parliamentary aspirant said he would ensure the completion of the rehabilitation of 24-kilometre Aburi-Nsawam and 13-kilometre Pakro-Nsawam roads, construction of a bridge over river Matetah, and the extension of Nsawam main lorry park
Mr Amoah, who is also the Deputy Minister of Education, Sports and Science, said these when addressing a political rally at Nsawam on Monday.
He pledged to ensure the renovation of Astet Company, reactivation of the Tractor Assembly Plant and completion of abandoned economic projects in Nsawam and Adoagyiri to create jobs for the youth.
Mr Amoah urged the electorate to consider the performance of the NPP Government and vote massively for the party in Election 2008.
